From a CrossFit debate to forever
2019
The CrossFit Debate
It all started in 2019. Becca and Patrick were at a house party, and Patrick was talking to a group about this new fitness thing he was getting into called "CrossFit". Becca, as a trained exercise scientist and studying physical therapist audibly scoffed from across the room. Patrick, feeling defensive and flirty, marched his butt over to Becca to defend his new hobby. Becca explained that CrossFitters are prone to injuries, and even though Patrick had just started, everything on his body was already falling apart. Then, they started going on dates, like the one you see here.
2020
Surgery & Pandemic
Then in 2020, Becca got surgery and Covid hit, hooray! So Patrick got to wheel her broken ass around while they both stayed inside and watch Jon (Patrick's Brother) play Fortnite while he got his MBA, which Becca hated.

2022
Roommates & Cats
In 2022, they decided to move up in life and become "roommates", because "living together" was too scary to one of the two. They also got cats, whose names are as ridiculous as Becca and Patrick are together. Peppa is not shown in this image, but you'll see her elsewhere on this site.
2023
Working Out & Getting Married
There was a lot of working out together. Becca STILL convinced that "competitive fitness" was stupid, but that's probably because Patrick always kicked her "academically trained" ass. However, there was a lot of badass benching, and some of this Benching happened at a CrossFit gym. Could this be a sign she was turning? Also, side note, this is the year they decided to actually get married. At this point, marriage is simply a "mutually beneficial insurance agreement". Becca will tell you she "won" by tricking Patrick to say yes, but the person making the website is doubtful of that. I mean, it was over 2 years ago now so perhaps our memories are hazy. Idk.
2024
Becca Discovers CrossFit
For Christmas in 2023, Patrick got Becca a 1 week pass of CrossFit at the gym he attended, Monument Fitness. She went, and she almost beat Patrick at one thing, and then a light flipped in her head. What does Becca love? People? ✓ Fitness? ✓ Patrick? At this point, yes of course, but she would love him more if she could kick his ass. Then she started to go more often, and beat him sometimes. And now that she was beating him sometimes, all of a sudden CrossFit wasn't so stupid. Funny how that works out. This is also when Becca decided to start travel PT. But due to how well these two got along at this point, they were able to make the distance work! In their "career arcs" with Patrick building a startup, and Becca traveling to help people all across the US.
2025
More In Love Than Ever
This is now! And Becca and Patrick are more in love than ever. They often quote John Legend saying "I don't love you like I used to... I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MORE!" And then they follow it up with something very stupid and start giggling so much that Tori gets annoyed.
We are excited to have you share in our relationship at our wedding, and PARTY with us to celebrate!
